You’ve decided to wear your curly hair for your wedding. Great! You’ve also decided on a stylist and have scheduled your trial run. Way to go on knocking things off your to-do list!
Now what?
It’s important for you to be prepared for the trial run — the more prepared you are that day, the more comfortable you will feel on your wedding day. Here are a few tips to make sure your bridal trial goes smoothly and ends with the results you want:
- Bring lots of pictures. I suggest you bring pictures of styles you like as well as styles you don’t. If you can, find pictures that show all angles … front, back, and sides. This helps your hairdresser get a clear vision of what you want.
- Bring your hair accessories. If you are planning on wearing any clips, combs, or pins in your hair, be sure to bring those to your appointment. They are part of your style, so you’ll want to see your complete look.
- Bring your veil. If you are planning on wearing a veil, I like to see that as well. Your stylist will want to be prepared for attaching your veil, as well as coaching you on removing it if you choose to.
Your wedding trial is the best time to nail down the hair details of your wedding day: How many people will be having their hair done? What time are your pictures? What time will your stylist begin? Will you be going to the salon for your wedding day hair? Will your stylist be traveling to you?
The more answers you have, the smoother your special day will be!
